WHAT IS 'UNFILTERED'?

Unfiltered is a short documentary amplifying the voices of 7 Western Australians navigating mental health challenges across diverse communities and identities. This is not a glossy, inspirational narrative. It’s a brave, human, and deeply honest look at what it means to survive, advocate, and thrive in systems that aren’t conducive to it.

It is an exciting collaboration, brought to you by Rachael Burns (Founder of Integrity Initiative) and Lily Gresele (Founder of How To Be Well).

Lily and Rachael are both young people in Boorloo who have founded and operate grassroots, Lived Experience mental health enterprises and who have experience in film, media and content creation. Rachael has previously produced four award-winning documentaries, including one international feature film finalist, whilst Lily is a talented digital mental health content creator with over 6k following.

'Unfiltered' premiered on October 5th, 2025 at The Backlot Perth with family, friends, colleagues and Peers. It truly embodied the theme of WA Mental Health Week 2025 and which grounded this edition of Unfiltered - "Empowering Communities, Thriving Workforces"

THE CAST: Lana Moon, Natalee Blakemore, Zoe Diakoloukas, Eva Cocks, Annabel Tannenbaum, Jake Gaitskell and Ally McDonald.

Absolutely, yes. And with a child experiencing mental health challenges I believe this is so empowering for those experiencing the same.

The video was incredible. Thank you to all that shared their stories.
