HTBW COMMUNITY
A non-clinical online mentally safe space for connection, empowerment, and support.
Too often, people feel alone in their challenges, unsure where to turn or whether they belong. How To Be Well exists to change that - to show that everyone deserves support, to eliminate discrimination, everyone deserves care, and everyone has the power to take small, meaningful steps toward wellbeing.

HOW TO BE WELL COMMUNITY OPERATES ON A FOUNDATIONAL LAYER:
-
Community wellbeing
-
Prevention
-
Connection and belonging
-
Mental health awareness and education Early intervention
BUILT ON LIVED-EXPERIENCE & PSYCHOLOGY INFORMED:
A community space like How To Be Well can stay psychology-informed and evidence-based by intentionally building practices, partnerships, and processes that align with established psychological research while still remaining accessible and community-led.

About the founder:
Lily Gresele is a young mental health advocate from Perth, WA and the founder of How To Be Well. Drawing from her Psychology studies (Bsc. Grad Dip) and her own lived experience with mental health challenges, Lily saw a gap in community support. In 2025 Lily launched the her own online, non-clinical support platform (How To Be Well Community) to help normalise conversations around mental wellbeing, reduce stigma, and increase support seeking behaviours.
What began as a personal storytelling initiative on social media has since grown into a grassroots community-led wellbeing organisation trying to bridge the gaps between mental health challenges and accessing support.
How To Be Well continues to create inclusive, non-clinical environments that complement professional mental health care, empowering individuals to engage with their wellbeing in a way that feels approachable, supportive, and community- driven.
